LTN Cameroon Celebrates 25 Years of Empowering Communities Through Microfinance
LTN Cameroon, a leading microfinance institutions in Cameroon, is celebrating its 25th anniversary of providing essential financial services to the public. The institution kicked off its anniversary celebrations with a press conference held in Yaoundé on January 23, 2024. During the conference, the top management shared the remarkable achievements and future prospects of LTN Cameroon over the past 25 years.
Over the course of its existence, LTN Cameroon has financed nearly 185,000 clients, providing them with financial support totaling over 404 billion XAF. This financial assistance has not only benefited individuals but also 713 small and medium-sized enterprises in the country. Additionally, LTN has made significant contributions to the rural sector, with over 57 billion XAF being allocated to support rural development initiatives. This commitment to the economic sector is evident in LTN’s fleet of 35 vehicles and 130 motorcycles, which gives the institution a robust presence compared to its competitors.
Looking towards the future, LTN Cameroon has exciting prospects in store. The institution plans to launch a specific offering tailored to the urban transport sector. Potential partnerships with major players in the industry, such as YANGO, Bee, and the National Union of Motorcycle Taxis in Cameroon, are on the horizon. LTN also intends to provide financial support to individuals interested in entering the urban transport sector, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure their success.
Furthermore, LTN Cameroon will reintroduce the ‘Auto Credit’ service, which had been suspended previously. The company promises a better-structured version of this service, providing customers with improved options and flexibility.
